What’s flowering in June?
June is traditionally the start of the cold winter months so it’s lovely to have a sunny pop of colour in the garden to brighten those darker days. These are our three favourites
Smothered in cheerful golden yellow flowers. Vigorous, heat and drought tolerant with fine, trailing foliage. A tidy mounding habit and bumble bees adore it! Position in full sun with an estimated Height of 20-30cm x 20-30cm.
A perennial groundcover with dark green foliage, preferring semi to full shade this hellebore features maroon to blue-black, single blooms with yellow centres from winter through to spring. The flowers are great for cutting. Height 50 cm x 50cm.
A dwarf growing cultivar of our native Manuka, with dark green foliage and smothered in large single pink/red flowers during winter and spring, supplies food for the bees and beneficial insects. Best in a full sun position, while tolerating most soils, windy and coastal conditions
