Description

Commonly known as Puka, this New Zealand native grows into a broad topped tree, with attractive bold foliage. Very large glossy green leaves with flowers appearing in mid winter, followed by black berries. Prefers full sun to semi shade and well drained soils. 
Tolerates coastal conditions.

Intolerant of strong wind and frost.

Evergreen.

Estimated height 5metres x 5 metres wide.
