Description

Native to New Zealand, an attractive small flax like plant with rough leaf edges and a reddish leaf base. Has showy berries which range in colour from pale grey to purple, blue or white. The berries are not edible. Great mass planted as a groundcover. Prefers a sunny or semi shaded site with free draining soil. Tolerates coastal conditions. Hardy and evergreen. Medium growth rate.
