Description
Putaputaweta also known as Marbleleaf is a slow growing, smallish native tree with marbled leaves.
Attracts native birds such as: Bellbird, Tomtit, Tui, Rifleman, Fantail, Kereru. Also attractive to lizards and insects.
Has white flowers followed by purple fruit.
Plants are in a 2.5L pot
Growth habit- approximately 2 m x 6m. Putaputaweta contributes to the biodiversity of native ecosystems and plays a role in forest regeneration. It tolerates a wide range of soil conditions.
