Dessert apple from the 1940s.

Bright scarlet flush over a pale greenish/yellow skin. Creamy white flesh is often stained pink under the skin. Crisp and juicy with a very pleasant, sweet, slightly tangy flavour. Partial tip bearer. Hardy. Ripens February.
