Description
Long-lasting perennial flower spikes providing months of spectacular colour. Clumps of tufted, grass like foliage which are perfect for borders, pots, rockeries and ground cover.
| How To Grow | Press the seeds into the surface of seed raising mix, and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Gently mist to keep the soil moist but not to dislodge the seeds. Thin as necessary, allowing at least 30cm (1’) between plants. The plants will benefit from an occasional feed of complete fertiliser. Flowers in Spring and Summer for several weeks. Extend flowering with regular deadheading. Seedlings emerge 21-28 days. Germination can be improved by cooling and soaking the seeds prior to planting. Refrigerate seeds for 7-10 days, then soak overnight in warm water. |
