The delicious, non astringent fruit is known for being very sweet and keeping well.
Produces fruit in 4 – 5 years.
Fruit ripen May-June; birds love this fruit, it’s best to pick from the tree when just ripe; use secateurs. Persimmons don’t require fertiliser when first planted. Grows well in warmer climates.
